Fascist ideology is back into mainstream political discourse, having snuck its way back utilising culture wars, astroturfing, and exploiting political goodwill. Where has this recent batch of fascism come from, and where does it want to go next? 

The #GamerGate scandal and its connections to the Trump 2016 campaign and the resurgence of these ideologies in the West serves as a prime example to understanding the playbook of radicalisation. 

Our protagonists of online activists, political streamers and journalists are trying to make sense of societal shifts and explore tools and potential solutions to safeguard our democracies and human rights in the face of present and future challenges.
